Character Personality ::
Hiren is a usually cold-logic person, always thinking of a means to benefit her village before benefitting herself; that is not to say she doesn't have her own personal side though. She is actually quite the pervert but keeps that hidden from the public view; she has to keep a professional appearance after all. Despite being a redhead, she has basically no temper, she can get upset and is quite volatile when angered- but she doesn't get upset easily; mostly she shrugs off insults because they mean nothing to her.

She has a quick intelligence but pretends to be less smart in front of those who seem to think they can take advantage of her or the situations. She has a thing for sweets, mostly chocolate sticks; she also liked spicy dango- she can often be found with a skewer stick in her mouth from a dango she has just finished.

Of preferences, Hiren prefers women, being raised in a clan with almost all women, seeing women as best friends and potential mates as one and the same. She is a very dominant type of person and cares very little for pretending to be submissive, especially to males. She isn't sexist, but the idea of men being lesser was instilled in her mind from a young age and she is trying to overcome that subtle thinking.

Hiren Hagane was an odd child in her clan, being one of the few children born with a different color hair than their clan's usual dark blue. Because she looked different, she was ostracized by her own clansmen and her parents struggled to raise her because they saw her as inferior. Twice as a young child, her mother had attempted to kill her by drowning and stabbing her. Hiren's father was a more peaceful man and saved her both times from sure death, even to this day, Hiren still bares the scar on her side where her mother had stabbed her.

Even though her father had let her live, he did not show any love to the girl; he was more strict on Hiren than her mother and showed little sympathy. Ever since she was able to walk, he would have her carry things, this improved her balance and built up her core muscles quickly. Despite his strict and unyielding way of raising her, his actions proved that he thought Hiren was capable of becoming something great one day... and to that end, he never babied her or went easy on raising her or training Hiren. By the time she was able to manipulate the most basic metals, her father already had started teaching her how to eat metal and convert it into chakra. She was naturally talented with their clans KKG and it was plain to see; her father saw it, but her mother refused to see. Hiren's mother had very little to do with her after the second attempt on her daughter's life, she left the parenting to Hiren's father and she just watched from a distance.

Normally, the parents of such children weren't as ashamed or extreme as Hiren's mother, but her parents had planned out a perfect family life... and when Hiren was born, her mother's dream was crushed by the gossip of the clan women. Hiren's mother died when the girl turned ten years old and entered the Ninja Academy, Hiren wasn't affected all too much by the death of her mother. The girl had already steeled her emotions and acted only on instincts and command from her father.
She struggled very little in the Academy, pouring all of her concentration into the jutsu the teacher taught; she passed with flying colors while feeling no big accomplishment.

Genin

As a Genin, Hiren stood out among her piers during the ninja war; they were not allowed to participate, but they were trained seriously and had to get used to the idea of killing. She had no trouble with her emotions of hesitation and even a few of the Genin instructors felt like their lives were in danger whenever they taught her jutsu or how to fight. The girl's sheer killing intent and willower baffled them. All o of her missions she was sent out on, she returned successful and had several killing blows notched in her belt; her sensei was impressed and her fellow Genin in her squad were intimidated by her.

Chuunin

Passing the Chuunin exams had been difficult for her, mostly because of her own village's Genin- they knew that she was skilled and that she would tear any of them apart if found alone, so they worked together to team up against her. While the majority of the Genin from other villages fought one another to compete and pass, Hiren's squad had to fight three separate Genin squads. The fighting was relentless and very dangerous, considering "accidental" death was acceptable, Hiren was a Hagane, an 'extremist' and misfit even. Picking on her came natural to the Genin of her village... so why shouldn't they team up and stop her from becoming a Chuunin? Hiren was the only female on her team, paired with two other boys her age, neither possessed any KKG or were part of a notable clan- they were nobodies.

They would remain that way too, several Kumogakure Genin died during that Chuunin exam; most of them from Hiren's own hands. Both of her teammates were accidently killed in the heat of the battle and Hiren lost control. they hadn't really been anyone important to her, but rather she was enraged that her own fellow Genin would go so far as to kill her teammates to stop her from becoming a Chuunin. She killed five other Genin in that fight before the others fled, the judges of the exam passed her to Chuunin and she promised herself she would become someone great, someone who people would respect and look up to.

Special Jounin/Jounin

Hiren became a Jounin at a young age of 19, she had been a Chuunin for a few years and successfully completed missions given to her without question or problem. She was recognized her talent and was promoted to Jounin; this brought a whole new ballgame of competition. She compete with Jounin twenty or more years older than her on missions and things inside the village, like teaching Genin the ways of Ninjutsu. Being as young as she was, she was picked on more because she was underestimated by most- she used that underestimation to her advantage and surpassed most of her fellow Jounin while they took her lightly. Over a year and a half, she proved herself on an individual basis that she was just as good, if not better than the Jounin around her; she practiced and trained her body and mind daily, in both jutsu and physical combat. Any of her peers and elders in the village called her the "child prodigy"

Her father had died wen she became a Chuunin, but he had died in his own bed with a peaceful look on his face, because he knew that his daughter would break the stereotype of his clan and change Kumogakure itself. He was right of course, by the time she was a Jounin, she had already collected quite the reputation and was noticed by many important figure heads in Kumogakure.

Raikage

It came as no surprise to Hiren or the fellow Jounin when she was chosen as a Raikage candidate, there was much conflict because of her young age, but she had already proven herself so much. Eventually, the conflict died down and it was put to a vote; those who were not in favor of her were far outnumbered- in both combat and leadership skills, Hiren surpassed many others, her age was irrelevant. She took up the mantle of Raikage at the age of 22 and still had much to learn in the ways of politics and other village's conflicts, but she learned through reading history as well as had councilors give her advice until she was confident in her own decisions on the matters.

Roleplaying Sample ::
It was an average day, a day filled with paperwork and important visits- visits from other villagers such the small surrounding areas near Kumogakure. Mostly those visits were casual visits, because none of those small villages held enough power to demand "respect" from Kumogakure- but Hiren based her actions on principle. Honor, respect and honesty. Hiren was an honorable person and would respect anyone like they respected her: even if the small villages around Kumogakure lacked any real power, profit or threat- Hirne would still treat them like a proper ambassador from the larger villages like Konohagakure or Iwagaure.

Her ability to make the lowly villages feel important, was important to her- she took every step and precaution to ensure her village came first and was well "backed" by other villages, no matter how small. Simply placing her village first, did not mean she shorted others; rather, she sometimes helped them above and beyond what the smaller villages asked to ensure that her own village would have the resources and manpower if necessary at any moment's notice. Have all the small village's ambassadors made their appearance today? I feel like we are short on at least one. Please double check the roster for me.

An assistant nearby her desk flipped through a manifest, a roster full of names, villages, dates, times and events- today she was focusing on strengthening the bonds with the villages around her village- she did not want any unpleasant surprises so close to her own village's border. She had taken the position of Raikage only recently after the deceased previous Raikage... and she was determined to do a better job than he had. The previous Raikage ruled Kumogakure with an iron fist( oh the irony) and did little about the surrounding "meaningless" smaller villages. In this area, Hiren governed Kumagakure differently- she had made the rules clear and her intent as Rakage- she promised the people she would lead them to peaceful days where they could relax without worry, where they could work and be prosperous and have plenty to eat.

Hiren still remembered several years where the village had little to eat, the war had caused quite the shortage in food and was just now becoming tolerable again. Hiren tapped her fingers on her kage's had that sat idly on her desk for grand display as she waited for the assistant to tell her if she had missed anyone. Raikage-sama, it seems the last ambassador from our closest small village hasn't made it.

Hiren snapped her fingers and two ANBu appeared in the room, kneeling in front of her desk with their masks covering their faces, they awaited her orders silently, Go with my assistant here and find the last Ambassador that is on my schedule. I won't be leaving the office today until I talk to the man.

The ANBU nodded and followed Hiren's assistant out the large metal double doors that lead to her office; they returned a short time later with a bloody and bruised man. There was some blood on one of the ANBU's uniform and Hiren gave him an inquiring look. Her assistant helped the man into a seat and began to treat his wounds(It was nice to have an Ijutsu assistant) The ANBU reported in, The man was being beaten up by a couple of thugs- apparently they knew what village he was from and wanted the man to be roughed up. Your assistant intervened and was almost attacked by one of the thugs, so he was "silenced" No other thugs resisted and protested after that.

Hiren nodded to the ANBU thankfully, while she could be compassionate and understanding, she would not tolerate needless violence and had no sympathy for those who picked on the weak... especially in large groups. If her ANBU had killed anyone, they had her full permission and approval. She had taken the time ti discuss with her ANBU and Jounin individually and let them all know her desires, intent and plan for the village & what their roles were to be in the next few decades.

After the man was healed and cleaned up a bit, he was finally able to turn his attention to the Raikage- he attempted to stand up straight and resume an impressive facial gesture. She waved him down and asked him to sit, It seems that hostility in your village was much more than I expected, I should have listened to your counsel in your official letter and brought some guards. Hiren had to agree with him, despite his predicament, if he had listened to her and brought bodyguards, he wouldn't have a bruised face or sore ribs right now. Hell, he was lucky to be alive.

Let's put that behind us, sir. Neither of our villages want any tension right now, we can alter how our people interact if we work together and benefit from a mutual relationship. Now then, let's discuss your farming land and how my people can help you produce more vegetation to end these times of food scarcity. She wouldn't let the man brood on being beaten up in her village, it was his fault after all- instead she focused his attention of improving their village's relations rather than completely abolishing the idea.
